Table Tennis star continues winning ways into 2020

13-year-old Saskia from Knockholt is continuing on from last year’s winning ways, as she fully immerses herself into her competitive 2020 table tennis campaign. Saskia remains the youngest table tennis player playing at her level, and with a busy start to the new year has already seen her competing in tournaments and competitions around the country, from London through to Wolverhampton, Bristol, and Northampton.

Regularly pitched against older and more experienced players, Saskia achieved the gold medal at the British Women’s League tournament held in Wolverhampton at the end of January, where she was also presented with flowers.

January also saw the youngster play again in a higher age group for the Kent Schools Singles tournament, which was held in Gillingham, where she again came away with the Gold medal. This win catapults Saskia into the National Schools Final which will be held in Birmingham on the 25th of April this year.

Before that however, Saskia will be playing in more tournaments throughout March, which will lead her to a National tournament for the Kent County Juniors (U18) on April the 4th.

All eyes for Saskia will then be on the England National Finals which will be held in June and then on towards the England Youth Squad for next season, which will start this September.
