Sevenoaks Swimming Club are looking forward to presenting Head Coach, Keiron Piper with his National Swim England 2021 Inspirational Coach Award.
The announcement that he had jointly won along with Sally Freeman of Plymouth Diving Team, was made live on Facebook whilst Keiron was poolside leading his A Team at the Arena League competition.
The Club are looking forward to presenting him with his award and celebrating his achievement.
Keiron was selected for this national award based on his inspirational leadership which ensured that athletes at the Club have remained happy, safe and well.
He identified swimmers were facing tough times during the pandemic and made sure they received the proper support they needed. He prioritised the physical and mental wellbeing of members.
Keiron said: “I’d just like to say thank you to you all and to the volunteers, parents, coaches and swimmers at Sevenoaks Swimming Club – I wouldn’t have achieved this without them.”
