Over 120 boys and girls from the U9 to U12 age groups took part in an spectacular end of season festival at Sevenoaks Hockey Club. There were some superb examples of teamwork evident when children were grouped in teams, some having never played together before. Mike Clyne, the new Chair of the junior section, came down to check out the action, and the beloved mascot Oaksy made a guest appearance playing on pitch, and even had a stint in goal!
A great turnout with many of the older junior players coaching and umpiring to a terrific standard. It really was a super team effort from all involved. The season has been fantastic, with the progression of each and every junior player.
