Sevenoaks swimmers take gold in thrilling 400m relay

At the end of July, Sevenoaks Swimming Club members, Izabella Okaro, Lilly-Marie Derry, Lara Turan and Eva Okaro won gold in the 400m Freestyle relay at the British Swimming Championships held in Sheffield.

With fierce competition from the City of Sheffield team, Eva swam the anchor leg in 55.50secs reducing a 2.97sec gap to help win the team a well deserved gold medal and the title of National Champions.

Head Coach Keiron Piper was beyond happy with the result, at this point we should refer you to social media to check out the now infamous video of him celebrating!
