Sevenoaks Sports’ July issue is out this week!

Dear reader,

As we bask in the glorious sunshine that has been with us for several weeks now, our attention turns to Wimbledon, the British Grand Prix, and unbelievably, the latter stages of the World Cup. Summer is definitely here and long may it continue.

You can now view the digital edition online here.

This month we feature the local primary schools that took to Knole Academy’s sports field for the Sevenoaks District Inter School Sports Day in an 8-page special.

We caught up with Holmesdale Cricket Club to see what they’ve been doing to improve the quality of cricket in the local community. What we found was a club that has developed a number of young players through their system and that makes it a shining example to other clubs in the area.

Thousands of runners and their families were welcomed to Penshurst Place at the start of the month as Run or Dye took over the parkland. We have a 4-page special starting on page 14.

The Health Boost offer us advice on how to look after our skeletal system plus two more mouth-watering recipes, Beetroot falafels and fruity baked oats.

Have you seen our banner at the Vine yet? We’re very proud to be at the heart of your local community so we made a slight adjustment to our logo, can you see what it is?

We’ll be back in August as we look forward to the start of the football, rugby and hockey seasons with full league constitutions and fixtures of all the major leagues.

And finally, Sevenoaks Sports magazine are proud to be supporting a charity football match at Sevenoaks Town on Sunday 15th July at 11.00am. Please check out the advert on the inside cover page this month and hopefully we’ll see you there?

You can now view the digital edition online here.

Kind regards,

Steve Rowley, Publishing Editor

PS. Remember, wherever you go this month, please take a copy of Sevenoaks Sports magazine with you, you never know who you might bump into!
