The Kent Cricket League fixtures have been published for the 2020 season and as you will see on the right, the Sevenoaks District can once again enjoy two of their teams going head-to-head in the summer as Sevenoaks Vine and Holmesdale lock horns once again.
Holmesdale gained promotion back to the top flight of Kent Cricket in September after finishing runners up in Division One, and both clubs will also be in action together in the Premier 2nd XI, with Sevenoaks hosting Holmesdale on the Vine on the final day of the season.
With the 1st XI’s playing at Montreal Park on the same day, we could expect to see some final day partying come the close of play!
Zak success
Newly capped England player Zak Crawley has previously played for both clubs, and given that he is still signed to Sevenoaks, it would be wonderful to see him back playing in these derby matches should he have the chance.
Cricket Week on the Vine
Sevenoaks Vine’s Cricket week returns once again in the summer and will start with the 1st XI at home versus Holmesdale on Saturday 4th July.
Expect to see some fantastic cricket played during the week and some famous faces too, when Chance to Shine bring in the big boys for a charity raising day in the sunshine!
