Michael Davidson is a contracted player with the Canterbury state side in New Zealand and is super excited about the opportunity of playing and becoming a Holmesdale stallion. Michael is a 26 year old left-handed batting all-rounder, who captains Canterbury A team and has enjoyed very recent success on their tours of Australia, including an unbeaten 125*.

Michael was recommended to us by our very own Scott Duggan, who since returning to NZ has been selected to wicket-keep for Canterbury A. There is no better way to select an overseas than a trustworthy stallion, and I am super excited about Michael arriving in England. As well as being a first class cricketer, Michael has his roots working with juniors, having run the Junior Section of his NZ club ‘The Park’ a number of years. He will be an asset as a coach for Holmesdale, working with the U11’s, U13’s & U15’s as well as Performance squad on a Sunday.
