HC Knole Park’s Men’s 1st team threw away a 3-2 half-time lead at fellow mid-table team Marden Russets 3rds. Marden made a great start and when into an early lead, however an inch perfect strike from Duncan Parnis brought it back to 1-1.
Moritz Hippe scored his first 1st team goal with a crisp backhand strike, only for Marden to head down the other end and score themselves. Parnis scored a wonderful solo effort to give Knole Park a slender 3-2 lead at the break. In the second half both sides had chances, however it was Marden who took theirs to make it 3-3.
A fair result for both sides. Knole Park host second placed Ashford on Saturday.
