Sevenoaks Swimming Club headed up to Ponds Forge in Sheffield in April to compete in the British Swimming Championships with huge success.
Qualifying were: David Allen, Demi All, Albert Branch, Matt Burrows, Chengze Duan, Sam Martin-Young, Zachary Raymond, Euan Terry, Daisy Anderson, Lilie Chambers, Amelia Childs, Lilly-Marie Derry, Eva Okaro, Izabella Okaro, Imogen Stoddart and Imogen Myles.
There were solid debuts and personal bests with all the hard work paying off. Sevenoaks Swimming Club were delighted with the amazing work by the whole team: all qualifying swimmers; coaches and parents. It really was an incredible team effort.
Eva Okaro claimed the Double Junior 50m and 100m freestyle titles with European Junior Consideration qualifying times. Keiron Piper, Head Coach says, “Eva has shown fantastic resilience to return from a big injury and all at Sevenoaks Swimming Club are extremely proud. Massive congratulations Eva! Hard work pays off.”
