TJs win on the road

Tonbridge Juddians 1st XV made it 2 wins from 3 games in the National South 2 League with a 14-24 away win at Clifton last Saturday. Level at seven a piece after 30 minutes following a Ben Ashmore try and Nathan Holmes conversion, TJs edged in front at 7-10 with a Liam Holmes penalty to boot.

After the break Richie Bent crossed for a try and Holmes again converted. Clifton hit back to make it 14-17 but Will Ward added a third try and Holmes a third conversion to take TJs to a 14-24 lead which they kept for the rest of the game

Cole Campbell signed off for TJs after 82 1st XV games and heads south, and home shortly. Cole has impressed us all with not only his skill and athleticism in the 2nd row and back row (when asked) but also his demeanour and warmth. He will be missed both on and off the field. Good Luck Cole and Shannon!

The Development squad had a topsy turvy game at home to Old Alleynians and came out the wrong side in a 39-42 loss.

TJs welcome Henley to The Slade next Saturday for a 3.00pm KO.
