That’s better, spring is on its way and we’ve reached that time of year when the so called ‘winter sports’ start to give us a clearer picture of their final standings. With local cup finals on Sevenoaks Town FC’s 3G pitch scheduled for March and April, we will be featuring these in the next edition, plus will we see the Town and the Sevenoaks Suns lift their respective titles.
For now, we are content with knowing that’s all to come soon but we’ve still got a packed issue for you this month. Premier League Hockey has returned to Hollybush Lane as we catch up on the men’s latest outing. Sevenoaks Swimming Club get on their marks as the new Kent County Championships get underway, with a report from Joanna Percy.
We also talk to Kelan Ryan, an 18-year old from Kemsing who has immersed himself in the art of Parkour, or Freerunning to those who think that’s a jacket from the 70’s. What he does is amazing!
We get up close and personal with a dynamic duo at Sevenoaks Town FC. Chairman Paul Lansdale and first team manager Micky Collins tell us how and why they are making things happen at the Bourne Stadium, and with the visit of Real Madrid in the summer, there’s a lot more going on at Greatness than you probably thought.
