Welcome to another edition of Sevenoaks Sports magazine. We have another packed issue for you once again with a round-up of local news stories including highlights from our new weekly report and league tables.
The Sevenoaks Powerchair Football team were back in action once again, and came home from Nottingham with another haul of points. The Sevenoaks Suns continue to set the Basketball world alight, and although they crashed out of the WBBL Cup, they are still unbeaten in the league.
Sevenoaks Rugby Club start off the fundraising for the GB Wheelchair Rugby team in a bid to get them to Tokyo in 2020. We also have our news round-ups on rugby, hockey and football.
In our main feature this month Caroline Kings visits Kingdom Yoga in Penshurst for a spot of tranquillity and head space. I talked to Amy Cable, a local Zumba instructor, to find out what exactly goes on under the disco lights in one of her classes, plus she gives us some free.
Chris Wharton returns from the Better Body Group to give us some tips on how to have a ‘guilt-free’ Christmas, whilst Katharine Bright from The Health Boost talks to us about fat and she shares her recipes for a festive salad and a French honey & spiced loaf.
So, Christmas is now upon us and many clubs will be seeing a couple of weeks break in their schedule. Don’t worry though, we’ll be back in January with some more excellent features, news and fitness tips to get you going for 2018.
