Sevenoaks Sports’ August issue is out now!

Dear reader,

Welcome back everyone! We’ve got another action packed edition of Sevenoaks Sports magazine for you this month, but I would like to start by thanking all of you who nominated us in the Sevenoaks Town Partnership Business Awards. We are proud to announce that we have been put forward for three awards, New Business, Micro-Enterprise and Customer Choice.

You can now view the digital edition online here.

The process doesn’t stop there though, so we now need your help to get us as many votes in the Customer Choice category as possible. Please visit our website at www.sevenoakssports.co.uk/vote where you will be redirected to a self-explanatory form to fill in.

We’ll let you all know how we get on when the awards are handed out at the ceremony in September.

Right, back to this month’s issue! We quietly celebrate our first birthday with a look back at the last 12 months and also look forward to the the next year with a focus on Sevenoaks’ Basketball, Hockey, Football and Rugby teams.

Bethany Ecuyer-Dale is a rising Netball star who has just returned from a tour of Australia with the Young Roses. Our feature on page 15 gives a little more insight into this young lady and her dreams to become an Olympian.

We have also teamed up with Gordon McClennan, the CEO and founder of Working With Parents In Sport (WWPIS), to bring you a series of articles that provide an insight into how your children can make the most of sport.

Not forgetting all our usual round up of the latest news and statistics. See you soon!
