Sevenoaks Sports’ Editor, Steve Rowley and Associate Publisher, Lorraine Rowley, were recognised for ‘Best Business in the Community’ at the Sevenoaks and District Council Community and Voluntary awards on Wednesday evening.
The event, held at St. Nicholas Church and now in it’s fourth year, saw more inspirational community stalwarts and dedicated volunteers being recognised for their work to help others across the District.
Steve said: “Just to be included with all the other nominees was fantastic. To be recognised for the part we play in the community is quite humbling. Sports clubs in the area rely on many volunteers, this recognition [for Sevenoaks Sports magazine] is for everyone involved in sport throughout the area, without whom many clubs would cease to exist”.
